Eurotrip Day 1

So here I am, returned to hot and sweaty Singapore from the cold countries of Western Europe. These fourteen days have been a blast and in spite of the numerous fails my entourage and I encountered, I have been largely elated every single day. Walking my heart out, for one, was extremely liberating because there were so many new sights to see and places to be found. Making this series of posts shall be a nostalgic trip yet much-needed closure and reflection piece.

Almost wanted to wake the girl next to the window just so she could see this beautiful sunrise too. But she woke up by herself soon after.
Reminds me of iamsleepless - A Faint Memory
Food aboard Saudi Air was pretty good! Breakfast was between this or eggs.
Six hours layover in a crowded transit area with many many pilgrims. The water cooler didn't even have water until a few hours later. Couldn't buy anything from the shops because no riyal. Why the heck do they have a Baskin Robbins open at 10pm... you people really think ice cream during a six hour layover is a good idea? Anyway, was so damn glad to be out of Jeddah Airport and on my way to Paris!
Two French friends I made on the flight to Paris. Why do I look slightly demented here =.=
Aboard the RER which took us to... Gare du Nord station! Guys, that is legit the fastest and most affordable (10 euros) way to get from Paris CDG to the city. No discount given for buying a return trip though.
Decided to roam the surroundings after placing our luggage in the locker room. We had around... four to five hours to spare before hopping on the IZY train that would take us to Brussels.
Inside a random church. On a Sunday.
Check out that huge-ass organ up there.
Not cherry blossoms, but pink in Spring!
Lunchtime! Chanced upon this delightful little artisan boulangerie with a wide selection of sweets and savory pastries
They have such delectable quiches!
All these for only 6 euros!! SAVINGSS
Le random arch. Check out the crazy numbers of pigeons. One of my travel companions termed them "flying rodents".
Think he was feeding them.

Somehow managed not to get lost and here we are making our way back.
My dinner lol.
Graffiti everywhereee
Spring is green.
Made it safely to Brussels! (without getting pick-pocketed, lost, or terrorized otherwise)
