On this day, guess where we went as a class? Brugges!
The weather was splendid. We took the train to the town, which was surprisingly full of retail shops and cozy cafes in contrast to the quiet historical village I'd expected.

| This was one of the best orders throughout my entire trip. The variety and generous portions of fruit on my freshly-toasted waffles were 👌👌 plus just-the-right-amount of sugar frosting and that dollop of whipped cream to enjoy it with. |

| You can't see her but this lady was superb at juggling order-taking, food preparing, and cashiering all by herself. We were duly impressed. She was extremely warm and hospitable too. |

| Me being super happy. I got to walk + eat a lot that day. And the weather was damn good. Can walk so much without breaking a sweat and feel the warm sun on your body. |

| Belgium pralines~ can you believe this cheapo girl did not spend a single cent on their chocolates?! Kind of regretting. Sigh. Maybe I'll get it as a treat for myself sometime... soon. But first need to scout where got sell. |

| Europe has no shortage of large, fluffy dogs that look like wolves sometimes. |

| Shared this dainty soup set meal with Scarlet for tea. The acidity of strawberries made for an interesting contrast with the creaminess of the vegetable soup. C'est délicieux! |
