Europe Day 4

On this day, it was time to get cracking on real work. Scarlet, Jiaming, and I visited the Cambodian embassy (ashamedly we got off at the wrong bus stop and had to switch to taking the train instead). Thankfully, we managed to make it on time for the interview.

Unfortunately, we didn't get time to enjoy the Lotus Speculoos biscuits and tea that were brought to us...

And since my stomach was growling, we all headed for a little perk-me-up after!

After returning to the hostel and getting changed out of my formal clothes, I joined Jolyn and Roydon on an impromptu trip to the shopping street, Rue Neuve. They weren't joining, but I had to rush back to the hostel an hour and a half later to regroup with the rest for dinner. We had reservations at Chez Leon that evening ;)

Y'all know why the streets so lively in the middle of the day not... it's because all the shops close at 7pm -.-

And imagine my excitement when I saw this! Tsk. Only had around 15min to spare inside before I had to scoot off.

And here... we are. Definitely must come here if you visit Brussels. Prices are mid-range (some even on the high-end) but if you share with friends it's pretty manageable. Think I spent around 17euros?

That day was a day of vices la. I wasn't supposed to touch mussels, let alone BEER. But who the hell comes to Belgium without sampling their beer?

This place holds some record for having the most number of original craft beers or something.

What we told the bartender: OKAY, COULD WE HAVE ONE OF EACH LINE, FROM NO 1 TO NO 9. LATER WE COME BACK FOR THE REST OF THE MENU 😂😂 and see that Looza there? It's for the loser (me who can't take too much alcohol because of skin issues. Not that I'm weak uhh 🙄)

The colorful ones are some fruity beers. Damn sweet I tell you. Even for me.

On an unrelated note but because I really needed to get it off my chest, I'm kind of unsure how to feel about my completely shifted preferences. I used to be so fired up about computer games but now I'd prefer watching Pewds play them. My new hobbies are way more expensive: clothes, sneakers, traveling... music could go both ways lol. Either the tickets to gigs are gonna leave me hanging, or I could survive on my monthly subscription on Spotify.
