Hello. So, I went to Taipei with mai family on a 2D1N trip and here's a recount of the things I did. No pictures tho D: coz I was 'meh-ed' by the notion of uploading the photos one by one to mai computer and then posting them one by one
FIRST DAY!
Left the house at 9+++++ to arnd 10 am. Headed for Taipei Main Station via TRW. Reached Hotel Flowers near ShinKong Mitsukoshi. Left luggage there and had lunch at downstairs nearby HK style charsiew rice stall. Took MRT to XinDian, followed by bus to WuLai. At Wulai, we went to check out the waterfalls and the 老街。山豬肉香腸~~ 馬告雞湯 (?) After that, we went to 忠孝東路四段 near 忠孝復興站。 We shopped for sooo long, like 3-4 hours... Was looking for a scarf (mom), gloves (multiple) and window-shopping clothes in general. So. Many. Shops. Stopped for a drink at 元気 Bubble tea shop. THE MILK WAS DELICIOUS.
After walking around a bit more, we went back to the hotel to rest.
SECOND DAY!
Went to McDonald's for breakfast (hotcake w spammage of syrup and butter). And then we went to Taipei Zoo all the way at I-forgot-what-station-was-it :x I SAW PANDAS!
Well, at first the both of them (only haz 2 dere) were sleeping so we were feeling pretty meh but then after a round of all the other animals we went back to the Panda enclosure. AND HOLY FISHCAKES! ONE WAS AWAKE!
:DDDDDD:DDDDDDD :DDDDDDDDDDD :DDDDDDDDDD
So we were happy :) It was so chubby and round. I do like meh some pandas. PAN-DAH-S! NOT pen-dah-s.
How's that for a first-time-seeing-panda-IRL ~
Btw, the zoo tickets were super cheap. 60 NT (roughly 3 SGD) per ticket. Damn the pricing of Singapore Zoo. In terms of size, Taipei Zoo had about the same number of specimens but it was larger I think. We also took the Maokong Gondola up the mountain to the top and then back down to the zoo. The crystal cabins were awesome. Transparent glass floor (iono wut material was it that made the treetops look a whole lot greener) scared meh at first but after keeping mai eyes glued on the scenery through the floor for 5 minutes, I was numbed. The ride to the top lasted for 20~30 minutes. It was worth it:) Not very costly pricing too. We could use our 悠遊卡 (sth like ez-link card) to pay for tickets. Convenient much? At night we went to MOMO Dept Store for super expensive dinner (dad's idea :L he said the food there is good and service as well) @ Jogoya Japanese Buffet. Not bad ... I would not go there again though. Meh, I waited at the fruit juice bar for so damn long and nobody bothered to attend to meh. In the end, the fruit juice also not that nice to drink. So bland. Papaya freshly blended... and plain water added. Lame ><
Side note: I bought a new wallet at Jhong-Li and a new hp pouch at Taipei. Coz mai wallet was 4 years old and hp pouch zipper spoiled.
That's all for nao. Going to Homestay for 3D2N tomorrow. Maybeh there'll be pictures this time c;
