Europe Day 3

On the second day of PSSM, my prof gave to me... A FREE WALKING SPREEE. Okay seriously though, we started the morning on a really bright note. As in, the sky was bright, the sun was shining, so Prof P thought it'd be a great idea to make our way to the European External Action Service on foot. It was roughly a 30min walk from our hostel to the EEAS, which wouldn't have been too bad if not for the fact that most of us girls were wearing heels and all of us were in formal attire. Thankfully, the temperature was cool and forgiving -- even cold at times when the gusts came.

An OOTD before we left the hostel, albeit a bit blurred.
Look, how ridiculous... Someone added graffiti mascara to all the statue-men.
For some reason, I did not take many pictures during the walk or at the EEAS (it's really just a huge office building housing many smartly dressed workers). After our preliminary session, we had a nice, mid-priced lunch at the restaurant in front of the European Parliament, where our next session (with Friends of Singapore) was to be held at.

A street lined with many important institutions...

Some shoes...?

They have a studio right inside the building!

After the seminar, I jio-ed Sean, Jason, Bryan, and Kongwai to Smets Brussels to submit my raffle for the Yeezy Boost 360 v2 Cream Whites. I was so worried that I wouldn't make the entry because it was the LAST FRIGGIN DAY. Anyway, they all ended up entering the raffle with me haha. Well, of course, who in their right mind passes up the chance to make at least two-fold on reselling a pair of sneakers?! Stay tuned to Day 7 to find out if I did manage to cop them *smirk*

That evening, all of us dragged our weary bodies back to the youth hostel and settled for a convenient meal of pasta via Ubereats (lil expensive) in the lobby. Well, not like we had a choice because there weren't many places open that late. Tsk, I'm super not used to how early the retailers close... 7pm!? And given that the sun sets only at 9pm... haha. Europe, you're weird but lovely.

Pasta alla Norma is a pasta dish in Sicilian cuisine created originally in Catania, Italy. Catania is a city on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. It is made with tomatoes, fried or sauteed aubergine, grated ricotta salata cheese, and basil. (via J, via Wikipedia)
Gotta love the abundance of aubergine in European cuisine. Aw yis.
