Back at my house in Hukou where the temperature indoors is always cooler than outside. This year, I spent Chinese New year with my immediate family only, because all the relatives are in Singapore. On Sunday 10th Feb, we left for 陽明山 to see flowers. We were two days early though, the 賞花際 starts today. We saw 櫻花,梅花,牡丹花,茶花,and many others. After 陽明山 we went to our hotel in 蘆洲。 It is located above a shopping mall and the subway was just at B3. Super convenient. The next day, we went shopping at 西門町 (where I almost bought a baggy denim jacket but I didn't ._. ) and hunting for good food at 東門。Sadly, many restaurants were closed due to Chinese New Year so it wasn't as 熱鬧 as we hoped it would be. Still, we had some good dim sum at 高記上海點心。So, I guess we were lucky. Afterwards, we visited 國父紀念館 at random before moving to shop again at 忠孝東路。So many shops but I couldn't find what I wanted... because I was looking for summer wear. Hah. Dinner was 拉麵 at some 冠軍 ramen bar near SOGO. I had veggie. Yum. On the last day, we went to 八里 supposedly for cycling but it was drizzling and overcast and the scenery wasn't all that nice because of the fog so we just walked the streets and settled our lunch there. I had half a cup of papaya milkshake and three rice balls. All except the 干貝 flavoured one were good. And here I am, back in front of the computer in my chilly house chilling... Got work to do D: Gotta start working. Gotta start studying for upcoming exams (worry). Okay time for picture spam xD
